Dr. Ankita Roy

Dr. Roy is a GP and has her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She has been working in general practice since 2002, after studying medicine at University of Sydney in 1992 and graduating in 1999. She then spent a further three years studying Psychiatry at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
In 2003, Dr. Roy worked in the UK. Since coming back she has undertaken further training in mental health. Dr. Roy worked in a general practice clinic in Maroubra, and an HIV clinic in Darlinghurst before moving to our city practice.
Dr. Roy was the GP adviser in immunisations for the Eastern Suburbs Division of General Practice from 2005-2012. She is an accredited level 2 Mental Health GP practitioner and has previously taught other GPs in the field of Mental Health.
Dr. Ankita Roy has a genuine passion for all aspects of patient care; she’s sensitive to patient needs and is cherished by her patients.
