    As at 6am on Thursday 2 April 2020, there have been 4,976 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia. There have been 269 new cases since 6am yesterday.

    In NSW, as of 6am on Thursday, April 2 there have been 2,298 confirmed cases. There have been 116 new cases over the past 24 hours. Full information here.

    Of the 4,976 confirmed cases in Australia, 21 have died from COVID-19.

    More than 261,000 tests have been conducted across Australia.
